Katherine Sandnas+Ruriko Miyamoto+Shimpei Morimoto This work reflects upon the days of our lives, and presents the lasting impact our culture's history has on us. The exhibition is a stimulus for introspection on what unites us as people. How do we unconsciously respond to this enlightenment in our daily lives? Sandnas and Miyamoto fired American and Japanese soil into the Shigaraki Todo clay (translucent clay), and Morimoto made furniture of both countries. |
